PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Kjellstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Caschera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caschera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kjellstrom as he avoids it easily.
Caschera circles away from the clinch attempt

and Caschera counters with a single leg into guard. Kjellstrom didn't expect that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Caschera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kjellstrom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Caschera has managed to get both his arms back between Kjellstrom's legs - danger averted.

Caschera drops back looking for a leg! Kjellstrom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kjellstrom manages to kick Caschera off! Caschera jumps back into Kjellstrom's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kjellstrom wants to sweep but no luck.
Caschera tries to free his leg and advance position but Kjellstrom is retaining full guard.

Kjellstrom has his foot on Caschera's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Caschera works his way back into a safe position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kjellstrom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Caschera defends it easily.

Kjellstrom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Caschera is aware though and is defending well.

Caschera is looking for a kimura but Kjellstrom is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Caschera to get the leverage.
Kjellstrom wants to improve his position but Caschera is controlling well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Caschera is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Caschera wants to control from the top but Kjellstrom keeps moving.

Kjellstrom has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Caschera is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kjellstrom.

Kjellstrom is looking to reverse the position.

Caschera has hold of Kjellstrom's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kjellstrom seems comfortable defending it but Caschera has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kjellstrom is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kjellstrom is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Caschera couldn't care less - he's delighted!
