Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack McCullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunther Johanssen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCullough comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies by Drowning Pool. The key to victory for Jack McCullough has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack McCullough! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunther Johanssen! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCullough rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johanssen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McCullough tests Johanssen's chin there with a solid looking shot. McCullough throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Some wild striking there from McCullough.
Jab from McCullough. A left and a right from McCullough both land. Nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johanssen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCullough but McCullough pushes him off and we're back to square one. McCullough displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johanssen. Nice uppercut there from McCullough. McCullough throws a front kick aimed at Johanssen's knee but Johanssen avoids it well. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johanssen is defended easily by McCullough. Jack McCullough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunther Johanssen. Johanssen shoots in for a takedown but McCullough shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Johanssen shoots in looking for a takedown but McCullough manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johanssen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. McCullough swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCullough getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Johanssen blocks a head kick by McCullough.
Johanssen is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and McCullough moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack McCullough! Our winner, Jack McCullough, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
