Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Sailo shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but D Sailo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Smith shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. D Sailo eats them both and turns towards Smith to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
D Sailo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
D Sailo scores with a push kick.
D Sailo closes the distance and clinches.
D Sailo is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
D Sailo lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but D Sailo won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

D Sailo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Poor strikes thrown by Smith there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
