Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Frank! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power shoots in but no luck this time. Power tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frank swats him away and circles back towards the center. Power shoots in but Frank avoids the takedown attempt easily. Frank closes this distance looking for a takedown but Power circles away. Frank scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Power is trying to work for a sweep but Frank has mounted him! Power is squirming around, avoiding Frank's attempts to control the action. Power tries to lock up and control but Frank gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Frank cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Frank looking to control but Power is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Frank is in the full mount, landing strikes. Power taking shots to the head. Power is wriggling around trying to escape.
Power is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank trying to control but he's not successful this time. Frank with good strikes from the mount here! A nice elbow there by Frank. Power gets back to half guard. Frank working Power over with strikes. Frank working the head and body with strikes. Frank moves into full mount! Power won't be happy about that! Power taking shots to the head. BOOM! Frank connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Power in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Frank tries to control but Power wriggling away. Frank postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Power looks a forlorn figure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely. Power takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Frank lands a big shot there that rocks Power but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Frank trying to control but Power is having none of it. Power tries to reverse the position but Frank maintains control. Frank landing strikes, looking to finish! Frank tries to control but Power wriggling away. Frank is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Power can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Power is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Frank connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Frank tries to control but Power wriggling away. A nice elbow there by Frank. Power is squirming around, avoiding Frank's attempts to control the action. Frank misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Power on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Power tries to get out of the position. Power regains half guard. Power is not content to let Frank control the position. Frank sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Power defending well though. Frank is trying to control the action in half guard but Power is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Power controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Frank trying to control from half guard but Power is working away. Power wants to improve his position but Frank is controlling well.
Power keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Frank working Power over with strikes.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Power shoots in but Frank avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Power. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frank misses with a few strikes there.
Frank shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Power as he avoids it easily. Power misses with a takedown and Frank decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Power's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Frank dominated that round. That's time! Power's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Frank decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Power flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Power wants to get back to full guard. Power moves into full guard.
Power throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Power bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frank's guard. Power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Power working some strikes from top position. Power is looking to stand up but Frank won't let him. Power won't allow Frank to sweep him here. Power with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Power scoring with some ground and pound. Frank not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dan Frank has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Power content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Power's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Power looking to pass the guard. Frank working for a triangle but Power defends it easily.
Frank throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Power working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frank's head. Power with a nice head shot there. Frank throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Power's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Frank is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Power has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. That's two minutes gone in the round. Power lands a couple of elbows. Power postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Power postures up and lands a big shot to Frank's brow. Power working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Frank wants to stand up but Power is controlling him. Power working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Frank thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Power passes Frank's left leg - he's now in half guard. Frank regains full guard. Nicely done. Power working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frank's head. Frank trying to keep a closed guard but Power is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank looking for a sweep. Not yet Frank, not yet. Frank trying to strike off his back.
Power is pushing down on Frank's leg trying to pass to half guard. Frank is fighting to maintain full guard but Power has managed to sneak the leg through. Frank trying to control here.
Frank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Frank has one foot on Power's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Power shoots and misses and Frank counters with a shoot takedown. Power fights it but they end up in guard. Power looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Frank trying to control but Power is working from the bottom. Power knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frank on the ground. Frank passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank trying to control from half guard but Power is working away. Frank is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Frank thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Power's head. Frank sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Power defending well though.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frank throwing strikes from guard but Power blocks nicely. Frank tries to stand but Power is controlling from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Power looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Power scores with a nice shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Frank showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Power has his takedown stuffed and Frank counters with a head kick. Frank shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Power pinned against the cage. Power gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Power tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Power closes the distance and clinches up with Frank, looking for a takedown. Power pushes Frank against the cage but Frank circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Frank shoots in but no luck this time. Horrible takedown by Frank or perhaps it was just good defense by Power which made him look bad. James Power has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Frank. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Power lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Power misses with a takedown and Frank counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank fails to land the takedown. Power with a poor takedown and Frank counters with a nice kick to the body. Frank misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frank misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Frank closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Power sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Power is looking for a sweep. Frank is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Power is looking to control Frank's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Power avoid being mounted? Power avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Frank. Frank is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Power is trying to get back to full guard. Nice strikes from Frank there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power won't allow Frank to pass to mount. Frank is tying to control. Power wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Power connecting with a few gentle strikes. Frank passes to full mount! Power is trying to escape the mount.
Frank can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Power is looking to escape. Power is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank controlling from mount. Frank wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely. Frank thowing shots but they're missing. Power really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Power tries to hold on but Frank postures up. Power is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Power slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Power moves into full guard.
Power manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Frank manages to get himself to full guard.
Frank is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frank escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Power gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Power postures up.
Power postures up in Frank's guard and throws a big left but Frank blocks it. James Power has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Frank manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Power manages to get himself to full guard.
Frank stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dan Frank. I've got Frank winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
