Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Reichert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zack Reichert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Beattie! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reichert throws a sloppy head kick and Beattie moves out of range easily. Reichert scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Beattie is trying to maintain the position but Reichert is very close to passing his half guard. Reichert moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Beattie.
Reichert just content to control the position. Beattie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reichert off and has taken his back! Reichert trying to control but not successfully. Reichert is really stuck here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beattie is striking well from the back but Reichert escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Beattie missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Beattie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Reichert regains full guard. Nicely done. Beattie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Beattie gets to his feet - Reichert follows without any prompting. Reichert forces Beattie back against the cage and clinches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reichert gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Beattie regains guard.
Beattie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reichert wants to control from the top but Beattie keeps moving. Beattie working a defensive guard but Reichert manages to pass into side control anyway.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reichert manages to escape to his feet. Beattie tries to clinch but Reichert moves out of range. Jason Beattie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reichert shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beattie napping and manages to drive through into side control! Beattie is looking for a sweep. Beattie manages to work his way to half guard, despite Reichert's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reichert seems to be working for a kimura but Beattie defends the submission attempt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beattie can do anything to dispel that myth. Beattie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reichert pulls his head out easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Beattie is staying active underneath Reichert, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Reichert has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beattie is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Reichert dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beattie checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Beattie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reichert counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Reichert manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beattie on his heels. He'll look to pass Beattie's guard now, I'm sure. Reichert slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Beattie thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Beattie controlling Reichert's posture. Beattie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Beattie is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reichert is stalling in the full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Zack Reichert wasn't doing enough on the ground. Reichert shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Reichert was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Reichert in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Beattie is squirming around, avoiding Reichert's attempts to control the action. Reichert working Beattie over with strikes here. Beattie wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Reichert.
Reichert wants to control the pace but Beattie is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beattie is in all sorts of trouble here.
Beattie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Reichert lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Beattie gets back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reichert prevents Beattie from improving his position. Beattie is not content to let Reichert control the position. Beattie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reichert controlling the action here. Zack Reichert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Reichert is keen to just control but Beattie is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Zack Reichert wasn't doing enough on the ground. Reichert has closed the distance and engaged Beattie in a clinch.
Reichert has clasped his hands together around Beattie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reichert working the ground and pound but Beattie is defending the strikes. Reichert trying to control the action but Beattie is working from the bottom. Reichert stands up and we're back to a striking position. Beattie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Reichert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reichert preventing the sweep. Beattie is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Zack Reichert dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Reichert shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beattie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Reichert is looking to stand up but Beattie won't let him. Reichert wants to control from the top but Beattie keeps moving. Beattie trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Reichert in side control lands a decent elbow. Beattie prevents Reichert from moving into mount. Reichert working the strikes but Beattie uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Reichert is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reichert seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ground and pound from Reichert. Beattie is looking for a sweep. Reichert is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reichert wants to take a breather but Beattie is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zack Reichert. Beattie fails with the takedown. Reichert drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beattie wants to control but Reichert postures up. Beattie seems a little lost for a moment, as Reichert dominates the positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reichert throwing shots but missing, from side control. Reichert trying to control the action but Beattie is working from the bottom. Beattie tries to improve position but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee asks Reichert politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Reichert prefers to stall for the moment though.
