Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun BDown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laxa Tiv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiv has chosen Animal I have become - Three Days Grace as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shogun BDown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laxa Tiv!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BDown buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tiv wants to clinch.
BDown throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tiv.
BDown lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tiv tries to close the distance and clinch but BDown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
BDown moves out of range of the body kick from Tiv.
BDown feints and then cracks Tiv's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tiv down.
BDown will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from BDown, right into the meat.
Tiv moves to clinch but BDown breaks away
and BDown counters with a flying knee. Nice.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiv has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from BDown.
BDown lands a head kick!
BDown avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tiv loads up on a big right hand but BDown slips the punch.
BDown chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tiv doesn't manage to clinch there - BDown circles away.
BDown throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tiv on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by BDown. BDown obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
BDown throws a head kick that half lands.
BDown connects with a solid leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tiv.
Tiv throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
BDown closes the distance and clinches.
BDown stalling in the clinch.
Tiv pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Tiv lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Tiv throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A quick uppercut on the inside from BDown.
Tiv lands a nice elbow.
Nice body punch from BDown - that landed with a thud.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BDown managing to block the knees to the body from Tiv.
BDown avoids the elbow strike from Tiv, against the cage.
BDown lands a body shot in the clinch.
Tiv looks gassed!
BDown slowing the pace effectively.
Tiv throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Tiv is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. BDown is defending well for now.
BDown digs a right hand underneath Tiv's ribcage. Tiv let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Tiv's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

BDown lands with a left to the head.
BDown lands a big right hand that drops Tiv! The killer instinct kicks in and BDown finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by BDown!
