Tompkins comes to the cage accompanied by Dying Fetus - One Shot, One Kill. Steve Tompkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dingo Monster's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Tompkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dingo Monster!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tompkins. Monster does a little dance to reset his feet.
Monster cracks the inside of Tompkins's front leg.
Tompkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Monster thuds a left hand into Tompkins's body.
Monster throws a good cross that connects.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Monster throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Tompkins is breathing heavily.

Monster feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tompkins sprawling to the canvas! Tompkins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Monster finish him?!


It looks like Steve Tompkins has been cut.

Monster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tompkins, pushing him back against the cage.

Monster manages to break the clinch.
Monster tries to clinch up.

Monster gets a clinch.

Monster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Monster fails in his attempt to clinch.
Monster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Monster wants it to stay on the feet.
Tompkins throws an off balance right hand

and Monster holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tompkins working hard to break the clinch.
Nice body punch from Monster.

Monster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tompkins takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Monster swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Monster explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Monster pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Monster has taken the fight to the clinch.

Monster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tompkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monster looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Monster backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Tompkins's temple! It sends Tompkins violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Monster celebrates and the doctors try to help Tompkins!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Dingo Monster!
