Johnson has chosen If you want blood, you got it by AC/DC as his entrance music. Ted Scheckler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ted Scheckler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rebel Johnson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheckler looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Scheckler scores with a sloppy right hand. Johnson should have avoided that one.

Scheckler scores with a kick to the body.
Scheckler is looking to slow Johnson down with leg kicks.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Scheckler which made him look bad.
Scheckler scores with the left hand. Johnson knows he should have avoided that one.
Ted Scheckler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scheckler is looking to slow Johnson down with leg kicks.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scheckler tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scheckler to the ground. Scheckler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Scheckler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ted Scheckler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rebel Johnson.
A slapping body kick lands there for Scheckler.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson needs to keep his hands up - Scheckler had a free shot at his head there.
Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scheckler avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Scheckler.
Scheckler scores with a punch to the head.
Johnson is rocked!
Johnson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Johnson limp body while Scheckler jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ted Scheckler!
