And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Syndromia just misses with a punch to the body.
Syndromia misses the shot to the body.
Palmer shoots in but Syndromia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Syndromia works Palmer's body with a nice hook.
Palmer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Syndromia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Palmer moves into the clinch.
Palmer lands with a short shot to the head.
Palmer has Syndromia pressed against the cage, preventing Syndromia from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Palmer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Syndromia pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Palmer misses with a takedown
and Syndromia counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Palmer down! Syndromia is looking to finish but Palmer is intelligently defending himself.
Down Syndromia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathanial Palmer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Syndromia throwing strikes from guard but Palmer blocks nicely.
Syndromia trying to control but Palmer is working from the bottom.
Syndromia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Syndromia won't allow Palmer to get back to his feet.
Syndromia pushes down on Palmer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Palmer looks gassed!
Syndromia is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Palmer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
