Gold kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Step Up- Drowning Pool. Palelei comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Miracle - We Ain't Scared kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palelei bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gold's head backwards.
Gold lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A punch combination from Gold misses.
Gold wants to clinch up but Palelei keeps it at a distance.
Palelei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gold tries to clinch but Palelei moves out of range.
Gold walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Power Ranger Gold has been cut.
Gold lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gold tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gold. Palelei does a little dance to reset his feet.
Palelei throws an overhand right that lands on Gold's shoulder, as Gold tries to avoid the shot.
Palelei rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gold counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Palelei thinking.

Palelei moves into range and clinches up with Gold.

Gold landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Palelei creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gold's defenses.
Gold is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Palelei is defending well for now.
Gold wants to break the clinch but can't.
Palelei lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gold wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Palelei has him pressed against the cage.

Gold seems to have got his legs back now.
Gold takes an elbow to the forehead.

Power Ranger Gold's cut is getting worse.
Gold displaying some good clinch control by pressing Palelei up against the cage.
Palelei creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gold's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gold drops to his knees and Palelei pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
