Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alastair Gridlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gridlock is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Robbie Williams - Come Undone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gridlock connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bennet momentarily.
Gridlock swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bennet counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bennet feints and then cracks Gridlock's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gridlock down.
A punch lands to the side of Bennet 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bennet avoids the head kick by Gridlock.
Bennet lands a nice looking body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gridlock misses with a low kick.
Gridlock defending well as Bennet loads up on a big left hand.
Bennet misses with a looping left.
Bennet looks to score with a jab to the body but Gridlock is just out of range.

and Gridlock counters with an inside leg kick.

Bennet keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bennet tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gridlock was well out of range. Poor timing from Bennet.
Bennet does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Scotty Bennet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bennet lands a nice shot to the body.
Bennet throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gridlock.
Bennet closes the distance and clinches.

and Gridlock counters with a nice uppercut.

Bennet tries to clinch up but Gridlock circles away and keeps his distance.
Bennet lands a big head kick that sends Gridlock tumbling to the mat! Bennet takes a step backwards and waves Gridlock back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gridlock is rocked!
It looks like Alastair Gridlock has been cut.
Gridlock takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gridlock is still on wobbly legs! Can Bennet finish him?
Bennet misses with a looping right.
Bennet jabs Gridlock to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Gridlock seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bennet tries to clinch but Gridlock is having none of it.
Gridlock missing with a left hand there. Bennet was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gridlock throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bennet looks to throw the jab but Gridlock is out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bennet, as that shot connected.
Bennet looks for the body kick but Gridlock saw that one coming.
Gridlock sizes up Bennet with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bennet jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bennet throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bennet misses with an uppercut. Gridlock saw that one coming.
A left lands for Gridlock.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gridlock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bennet has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bennet and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Oooooh!!! Bennet has knocked Gridlock down with a huge combo! Bennet steps away and waves a wobbly Gridlock back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bennet throws a big shot that misses.
Gridlock throws out a leg kick but Bennet moves out of range and Gridlock only half commits.
Gridlock swats away the attempt to clinch by Bennet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bennet fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scotty Bennet dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alastair Gridlock's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bennet throws a hook but Gridlock blocks it.
Bennet ducks under a wild hook from Gridlock.
Gridlock misses with an uppercut
and Bennet counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gridlock thinking.
Bennet moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Bennet creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bennet lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gridlock is trying to stall.
Gridlock dodges an elbow strike from Bennet.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bennet.
Bennet lands a shot to the body.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bennet.
Gridlock swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bennet throws a punch but it's blocked by Gridlock.
Gridlock avoids a wild elbow strike from Bennet.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bennet just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gridlock's brow.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bennet fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bennet lands with a light punch inside.
Gridlock is pressed against the cage. Bennet pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Gridlock! Two more big strikes from Bennet and Gridlock crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Scotty Bennet!
