Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyborg Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is Bodies. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva blocks a leg kick.
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva stands and steps away. Santos gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.

and Santos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Santos to score with a decent uppercut.

Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
