Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, To Hak!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hak shoots in looking for a takedown but Shannon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Shannon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hak's guard now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shannon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shannon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shannon is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hak holds on for dear life, controlling Shannon's posture momentarily.

Shannon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. To Hak wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shannon avoids it really well and circles away.

A big strike lands for Shannon! That's really hurt Hak and he's turned his back - Shannon keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Shannon jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
