Esqueda has chosen Cant del Barça as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gerard Esqueda has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Peeta Mellark's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mellark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Esqueda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mellark circles away quickly and effectively.
Esqueda throws a lazy right hand but Mellark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mellark misses with a hook. Esqueda ducked under it nicely.

Esqueda shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Mellark is on queer street and Esqueda is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Gerard Esqueda really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that $10 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
