Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Joegensen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Konson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Konson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Joegensen throws out the jab.
Konson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Joegensen tries to kick Konson off but Konson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Konson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Joegensen to get to his feet.
Konson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Joegensen tries to clinch up.
Joegensen lands a high kick!
Joegensen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Konson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circling - Joegensen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Joegensen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Konson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mark Joegensen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Joegensen is fending him off so far but Konson persists. Nope, Joegensen circles away and we're back to standing.
Konson dives in and grabs Joegensen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joegensen pushes down on Konson's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Siret Konson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Joegensen circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Konson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Joegensen follows Konson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
