The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piechocki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Piechocki in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Piechocki working for a guillotine from mount but Silva is in no mood to give up.
Silva swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Piechocki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling Piechocki's body position as best he can.

Piechocki has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
Piechocki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Piechocki trying to control but Silva is having none of it.
Piechocki lands a big shot there that rocks Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Piechocki postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Silva in real trouble here! The ref calls for Silva to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
