Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Amokachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Amokachi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fuck The Police. Chris Funkyama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama connects with an inside leg kick.
Amokachi misses with a takedown attempt - Funkyama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Funkyama throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Amokachi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Funkyama.
Funkyama connects with a single shot there.
Amokachi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Amokachi showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Amokachi passes to side control.
Amokachi is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Funkyama looks calm but he's in trouble here. Amokachi gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Funkyama is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Amokachi lets go of the hold and Funkyama can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Amokachi!
In his post fight interview, David Amokachi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
