Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Harry Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Boes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boes has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Mega Boes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mega Boes! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots for a takedown but Boes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Boes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Boes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. Mega Boes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boes looks gassed! No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Boes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Boes tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Johnson throws a right and a left that Boes avoids nicely. Boes throws a leg kick and Johnson counters with a nice body kick.

Boes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The ref stands the fighters back up because Harry Johnson just wasn't active enough. A solid leg kick lands there for Boes.
Mega Boes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boes avoids it really well and circles away.

Let's see if Boes can do anything to dispel that myth. Johnson wants to pass to mount but Boes is defending the position. Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Boes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mega Boes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harry Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson passes the guard and advances to mount!
