The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Brooks misses.
Brooks wants to clinch.
Brooks lands a big head kick that sends Turu Rapthlaka tumbling to the mat! Brooks takes a step backwards and waves Turu Rapthlaka back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Lalbon Turu Rapthlaka has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turu Rapthlaka wants to clinch up but Brooks keeps it at a distance.

Brooks tries to clinch there but Turu Rapthlaka circles away.
That kick from Brooks tenderised Turu Rapthlaka's leg. Turu Rapthlaka is trying to keep his angry face on.
Brooks shoots in but no luck this time.
Brooks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brooks goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Turu Rapthlaka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
