Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cabbat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Marion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Marion.
Marion jabs Cabbat to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Marion looks to land a body kick but Cabbat moved away.
Marion walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cabbat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Cabbat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cabbat shoots for a double leg takedown but Marion sprawls well. He's pushed Cabbat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Marion is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jayden Marion wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cabbat checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Marion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round but I would say that Eric Cabbat will probably get the nod.

Donk. Cabbat catches Marion right on the button with a cross.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Cabbat.
Well Cabbat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
