The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson takes a swing at Saint Randy's ribcage but misses.
Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Saint Randy sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

After the fight, Josh Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
