Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zack Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auto Pilot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zack Miller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zack Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Auto Pilot!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilot jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pilot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Miller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Auto Pilot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pilot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A slapping leg kick lands for Pilot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Pilot does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donk. Pilot catches Miller right on the button with a cross.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Pilot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pilot ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pilot tried to score with a low kick but Miller checks it.
Pilot misses with a body kick.
Pilot misses with a wild body shot.
Pilot thumps Miller with a low kick.

Miller feints and as Pilot raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pilot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Pilot keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
Miller throwing strikes but missing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pilot holds on and takes a little breather.

Pilot looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Pilot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily.
Pilot is trying to keep Miller in close.

Miller distracts Pilot with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pilot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Miller lands a couple of digs.
Pilot looking to control.
Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pilot looking for subs off his back but Miller has passed one foot through into half guard.
Pilot is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back!
Miller tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Miller is trying desperately to improve position.
Pilot looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Pilot has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
You get the feeling that Miller really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Pilot fails to move to back control.
Miller is trying to stand.
Pilot wants to take Miller's back here but Miller is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Miller trying desperately to get to his feet.
Pilot seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Miller is holding on tight.
Pilot trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Miller's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Miller is working to get back to half guard.
Miller wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Pilot looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller tries to buck Pilot off but Pilot takes his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pilot gets his way!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miller will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Miller looks to land a combination but Pilot avoids it well.
Pilot moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Pilot lands with a straight right. Miller didn't see that one coming.
Miller chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pilot can pounce on him.

Pilot cracks Miller with a right hand to the side of the head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pilot.
Auto Pilot seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pilot was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.

Pilot is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.

Pilot goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Pilot keeps control of Miller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Miller is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Miller has Pilot pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Pilot manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller throws a series of punches but Pilot moves out of range.

Pilot tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Miller gets tackled into the ropes by Pilot. Pilot maintains the clinch.

Pilot is struggling to control the position.
Pilot throws a head punch that misses.
Pilot lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pilot scores with a jab to the head.
Miller misses with a wild combination.
Pilot scores with a nice strike.
Miller misses with a series of wild punches.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miller crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pilot - the referee stops the clock and Miller gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pilot. Miller manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pilot pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Miller back to the ropes. Pilot follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Pilot darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Pilot scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Pilot plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Miller throws a low kick but Pilot moves out of range easily.
Miller throws a shot from downtown. Pilot moves away and avoids it.

Pilot tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pilot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Pilot throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Auto Pilot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Miller will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Miller misses with an uppercut
and Pilot counters with a thumping low kick.
Pilot connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Miller tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pilot keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pilot feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Millers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Miller takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pilot connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Miller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Pilot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
