The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses with a double jab.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blake.
Blake avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A punch combination from Blake misses. Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Blake closes the distance and clinches. Diaz tries for a takedown. No joy.
Diaz struggles to land a body shot inside as Blake controls his hands.
Diaz lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Blake backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake is struggling to control the position. Blake successfully pulls guard.
Blake pushes Diaz off and gets back to his feet.
Diaz scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diaz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Diaz. Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Diaz tries to bum rush Blake with a series of wild strikes but Blake uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Blake shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard. Blake seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Blake working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Diaz's head. Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Blake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Blake would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blake is aware though and is defending well. Diaz has his feet on Blake's thighs here. He's pushed Blake off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Blake screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
