Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curtis Lind!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Mak!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mak misses with a takedown
and Lind counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lind displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mak.
Lind finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lind misses with a low kick.
Lind misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lind throws a front kick aimed at Mak's knee but Mak avoids it well.
Lind lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lind, right into the meat.

Lind motions for Mak to come forward. Lind throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lind. That's going to slow Mak down.
Mak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mak dips to his left and cracks Lind with an uppercut!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mak throwing strikes but missing.
Mak passes into half guard.
Mak lands strikes from half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lind keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Mak is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lind regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mak.
Lind wants to stand but Mak is controlling the position.

Mak throws an elbow that misses. Lind uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mak's guard. Nice move by Lind!
Mak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mak manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mak is landing with some decent strikes but Lind is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lind defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mak.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lind.
Lind fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mak is out of range.
Lind chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lind connects with a leg kick. Mak looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lind tries to move into range but Mak moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Mak drives through with a takedown into Lind's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Freddy Mak has got the better of the ground game so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lind lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lind's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lind duly obliges.
Lind walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mak checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Curtis Lind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lind tries to score with a low kick but Mak moves his leg out of the way.
Mak scores with a jab to the body.
Mak blocks a leg kick.
Mak shoots for a double leg takedown but Lind sprawls well. He's pushed Mak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Some bone on bone action there as Mak checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mak steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lind. That one must have hurt.
No luck for Mak with that takedown attempt.
Curtis Lind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Mak.
Mak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lind stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lind misses with a looping right.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mak.

Lind throws out a loose jab but Mak uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mak moves out of range of the leg kick from Lind.

Nice straight punches there by Mak. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mak.
Lind throws a low kick but Mak moves out of range easily.
Lind keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

No luck for Mak with that takedown attempt.
Mak takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mak checks a leg kick.
Mak on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lind wants to slow Mak down by chopping away at his legs.
Lind wants to land a leg kick but Mak is out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mak checks a leg kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Curtis Lind will probably get the nod.

Mak's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Lind lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mak's sensitive parts.

Lind lands a leg kick that knocks Mak off balance momentarily.
Mak has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lind.

Mak moves out of range of the leg kick from Lind.
Mak defending well as Lind loads up on a big left hand.
Mak shoots in for a double leg but Lind sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mak misses with an uppercut.
Mak scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mak might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lind - that will leave a mark!
Lind throws a front kick aimed at Mak's knee but Mak avoids it well.
Curtis Lind is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lind pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lind is looking to score with low kicks.
Mak gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lind throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

And that's the end of the fight!
Curtis Lind showed his dominance in that final round.
