Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - What. Knapp is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chevelle - The Red. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane fails to land the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Cane or perhaps it was just good defense by Knapp which made him look bad.
Knapp slips a jab from Cane.
Knapp scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Knapp throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Quentin Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cane has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin Cane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cane looks to land a left hand but Knapp moved out of range nicely.
Cane shoots for a double leg takedown but Knapp sprawls well. He's pushed Cane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fighters circling - Knapp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cane misses with a takedown
and Knapp counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cane's knee momentarily.

Knapp thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cane ducks under a wild hook from Knapp.

Nice defenses there by Cane.
Knapp rushes Cane with punches - Cane moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Cane goes down! Knapp follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
