The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edge takes a swing at Zuma's ribcage but misses.
Zuma closes the distance looking to clinch
and Edge counters with a series of strikes. Zuma will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jacob Zuma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zuma tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Edge scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edge goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Edge ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Edge.
Zuma closes the distance but Edge moves to the side
and Edge counters with a straight right hand.
Zuma shoots for a double leg takedown but Edge sprawls well. He's pushed Zuma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zuma is breathing heavily.
Edge lands a nice looking body shot.
Edge paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Edge throws a pinpoint strike between Zuma's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Zuma crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Edge scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Isidor Edge!
