Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kal El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Sontag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sontag has chosen Audioslave-like a stone as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kal El! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Sontag! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sontag misses the shot to the body. Jab, jab by Sontag - just one landing. Sontag throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sontag throws a hook but El avoids it easily. Sontag shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with El but El pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sontag is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by El. Sontag lands with a nice body punch. Justin Sontag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sontag fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. El sprawls well initially but Sontag persists and gets the takedown into half guard. El regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sontag. El trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Sontag with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sontag working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. El is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sontag looking to pass the guard. Sontag stands up over El, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sontag thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sontag closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming El to the mat! El manages to get full guard. El working a defensive guard here.
Sontag tries to free his leg and advance position but El is retaining full guard. Sontag looks gassed! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sontag accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sontag postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sontag won't allow El to get back to his feet. El looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
El working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sontag. Sontag has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sontag prevents El from getting back to his feet. Sontag working some strikes from top position. El utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. El is trying to control the position but Sontag postures up. Sontag throwing strikes from guard but El blocks nicely. Sontag is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now El is on top in guard.
El trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sontag wants to sweep here but El controlling him for the moment. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sontag is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. El works his way to full guard. Good work. Sontag content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sontag won't allow El to get back to his feet. Sontag postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. El throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. El is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

El looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sontag pushes down on El's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sontag moves into full mount! El won't be happy about that! Sontag lands with some strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sontag landing strikes, looking to finish! Sontag has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of El's face.
El is bucking up trying to escape but Sontag cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sontag avoids the attempt from El to control. Sontag fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

El is working to get back to half guard.
Sontag lands with some strikes. El regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sontag thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed El's head. Sontag moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Sontag dominated that round. That's time! El's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sontag lands a nice shot that snaps El's head back.
El closes the distance and clinches. Sontag goes for a takedown in the clinch but El prevents it.

El is working for takedown but Sontag is calmly controlling the position for now. Sontag drops down looking for an ankle pick but El pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kal El has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Sontag. El ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. El connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sontag tumbling to the canvas! El pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sontag was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kal El!
