Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wagner Cavalcante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Dent Urso!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Urso.
Cavalcante gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cavalcante is trying to push Urso away but Urso has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Urso jumps guard but Cavalcante turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Cavalcante breaks from the clinch.
Urso jabs at Cavalcante's body.
Urso throws a nice head kick!
Cavalcante swats away the attempt to clinch by Urso.
Urso has a takedown stuffed.
Urso gets tackled into the cage by Cavalcante. Cavalcante maintains the clinch.
Urso is trying to drag Cavalcante to the mat but Cavalcante just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wagner Cavalcante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabio Dent Urso.
Urso is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cavalcante pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cavalcante breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cavalcante gets a double leg takedown into Urso's guard.
Urso controls Cavalcante momentarily but Cavalcante frees himself.
Cavalcante decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Urso instigates a clinch.
Urso is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cavalcante is defending well.
Cavalcante manages to break the clinch.
Urso gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Urso wants to control the position but Cavalcante says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cavalcante has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cavalcante seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Urso for as long as he can get away with.

Cavalcante is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Urso can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Cavalcante lands a big shot there that rocks Urso but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Urso looks gassed!

Cavalcante looking to secure an arm triangle but Urso defends it well.
Urso really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cavalcante. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Urso is just holding on here. Cavalcante manages to take his back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cavalcante sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Urso taps out!
