Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silent Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konani Kulap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob's entrance music is mama said knock you out. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Silent Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Konani Kulap! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kulap quickly recovers to half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kulap is trying to stand back up but Bob is controlling him
Kulap is holding on to half guard well. Kulap tries to kick Bob off but Bob keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bob trying to mount his opponent but Kulap defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob is keen to just control but Kulap is a slippery customer. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kulap has eaten all the pies! Kulap is trying to get back to full guard. Kulap is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulap pushes Bob off looking to stand but Bob dives back in and keeps control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Good leg kick by Kulap there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kulap clinches with his opponent.
Kulap breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bob is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kulap throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bob tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kulap is in Bob's guard. Bob is breathing heavily. Kulap trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom. Kulap forces his way into half guard. Kulap trying to control from half guard but Bob is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob tries to roll over but Kulap keeps him under control. Kulap content to control rather than advance. Kulap wants to free his trapped foot but Bob is holding on for dear life with his legs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kulap is trying to control the action in half guard but Bob is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kulap decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kulap scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bob doesn't seem bothered though. Kulap throws a right and a left that both miss. Kulap looks to land a combination. Bob sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kulap fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bob, pushing him back against the cage. Kulap content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bob jumps guard but Kulap stands there with Bob around his waist. Bob gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kulap's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kulap lands with a shot to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Bob showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kulap.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulap throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kulap looks for a takedown but Bob sprawls well. Kulap tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bob throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kulap was covering up waiting for the punch and Bob finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kulap is striking but Bob is not phased and passes to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bob prevents Kulap from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konani Kulap dominated that round. That's time! Bob's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bob throws a combination. Kulap tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kulap misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but Kulap shows good takedown defense. Bob leaves Kulap with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kulap fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bob misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kulap, as that shot connected.
Kulap scores with a three punch combo!
Kulap swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulap pushes Bob up against the cage in a clinch. Kulap is pushing Bob up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Kulap lands an elbow inside. Bob tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kulap just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silent Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kulap presses Bob against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kulap breaks the clinch.
Bob keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kulap looks to land a combination but Bob avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kulap dives in and grabs Bob's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bob pushes down on Kulap's head and hops out. Bob drives through with a takedown into guard. Kulap is trying to control the position but Bob postures up. Bob got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kulap has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bob has managed to get both his arms back between Kulap's legs - danger averted. Kulap trying to keep a closed guard but Bob is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bob passes Kulap's left leg - he's now in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kulap can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kulap is controlling Bob's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bob stops Kulap from getting back to his feet.
Kulap looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ground and pound from Bob. Bob prevents Kulap from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulap is trying to stand.
Kulap really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bob is trying to control. Kulap wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kulap is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kulap tries to kick Bob off in order to stand up. Bob Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Kulap tries to buck Bob off but Bob is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konani Kulap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Kulap lands an elbow just above Bob 's eye. A frustrated look appears on Bob's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kulap is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kulap's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kulap explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bob tries to keep at a distance but Kulap has taken the fight into the clinch. Kulap breaks the clinch.
Kulap thumps Bob with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kulap. Kulap looks for a takedown but Bob sprawls well. Silent Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konani Kulap. Kulap darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage. Bob is looking to take this one to the mat. Kulap breaks from the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kulap.
Kulap thuds a left hand into Bob's body. Kulap fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but Kulap shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kulap feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down. Bob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kulap sprawls well. Kulap wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bob gets slowly back to his feet. Bob shoots in but no luck this time. Bob tries to keep at a distance but Kulap has taken the fight into the clinch. Kulap manages to break the clinch.
Kulap is looking to clinch but Bob is avoiding it.
Kulap looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bob!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kulap swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bob is now in Kulap's guard. A big mistake from Kulap there, giving up the dominant position! Kulap is wriggling around but Bob manages to pass to half guard.
Kulap wants to improve his position but Bob is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulap is trying to maintain the position but Bob is very close to passing his half guard. Bob looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bob lands a nice short elbow. Kulap wants to get back to his feet.
Konani Kulap has got the better of the ground game so far. Bob prevents Kulap from improving his position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bob content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Konani Kulap comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kulap has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
