Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menace's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Leroy Brown. Fatts comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hit Em Up by Tupac kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Phantom Menace could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Fatts's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Phantom Menace! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Fatts! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menace fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Fatts keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fatts keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Menace. Menace manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fatts on his heels. He'll look to pass Fatts's guard now, I'm sure. Fatts is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fatts utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Menace trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Menace is looking to work some ground and pound but Fatts has wrist control. Fatts looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fatts trying to keep a closed guard but Menace is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Menace is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Fatts not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Menace won't allow Fatts to sweep him here. Menace tries to free his leg and advance position but Fatts is retaining full guard. Menace drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fatts looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fatts looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fatts! Menace is looking to regain half guard here but Fatts keeps moving and retains side control. Menace is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fatts lands some shots froms side control. Menace is looking for a sweep. Fatts working the body and head with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Menace tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fatts lands some shots froms side control. Fatts takes a little break here. Menace wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Menace tries to buck Fatts off but Fatts is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Fatts's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Fatts connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Menace some visible discomfort.
Menace takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Fatts wants to control but Menace is keeping him busy. Fatts grinds an elbow into Menace's temple. Menace tries to bench press Fatts off him but Fatts keeps the position. Fatts creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Menace sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Menace is trying to control Fatts's posture but Fatts avoids it. Menace takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
This has been an exciting period of action! Fatts is looking to take a break and control but Menace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Menace is trying to get back to half guard. Menace looks to move to half guard but instead Fatts has passed into mount! Damn! Menace takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Menace is desperately trying to improve his position but Fatts has a good base and remains in mount. Fatts is landing with some decent strikes but Menace is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fatts cracks Menace with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Menace is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Fatts dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Fatts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fatts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Menace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fatts's guard. Menace missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jay Fatts has got the better of the ground game so far. Fatts is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Menace defends well. Menace is looking to work some ground and pound but Fatts has wrist control. Fatts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Menace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fatts is on top in guard.
Menace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Menace thowing shots but they're missing. Menace looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Menace fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fatts sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Menace is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fatts! Menace raining down hammerfists from mount.
Fatts is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fatts is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Menace raining down hammerfists from mount. Fatts is still in real trouble! Can Menace finish him? Menace postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Fatts out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Menace goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Phantom Menace! Phantom Menace retains his middleweight title! A relieved looking Phantom Menace thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
