Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Measure is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Measure is looking for a sweep. Davis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Measure defends it well.
Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Measure wants to get back to full guard.
Measure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

Davis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Measure manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Davis has Measure in his guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Davis has his foot on Measure's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Measure works his way back into a safe position though.

Davis can't keep his opponent in guard - Measure advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Measure connects with a nice short shot to Davis's temple.
Measure is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Measure has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Measure landing strikes from the mount and Davis is in trouble!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Measure loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Davis scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Measure land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Measure stands and salutes the crowd.
