Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Sloppy strikes from Mcgillicutty. Those never looked like landing.
Mcgillicutty shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Mcgillicutty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva lands with a nice combination. Mcgillicutty backs away looking to recover.
Mcgillicutty shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Silva thows a body shot but no joy.
Silva gets in close and tags Mcgillicutty with a short punch that almost sends Mcgillicutty to the mat! Oh Mcgillicutty is in big trouble! He turns his back on Silva, trying to create some distance but Silva rushes him, striking wildly and Mcgillicutty goes down! The referee tackles Silva into the cage to end the fight! Silva is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Silva!
