Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pickle Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wai Sai Lok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pickle Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wai Sai Lok! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sai Lok dodges the punch combination from Head.
Head throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Head is breathing heavily. Sai Lok looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Head is fending him off so far but Sai Lok persists. Nope, Head circles away and we're back to standing. Sai Lok shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Head throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sai Lok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Head is refusing to be controlled, as Sai Lok sits in half guard. Sai Lok slows the pace down in half guard. Head taking some punishment here, with Sai Lok in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sai Lok gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Sai Lok scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sai Lok is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sai Lok is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Head sees it coming and defends easily. Sai Lok sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Head defending well though. Sai Lok controlling the action here. Sai Lok is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Head doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sai Lok.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sai Lok is keen to just control but Head is a slippery customer. Sai Lok is working for a submission of some sort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Well, if Sai Lok is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Head on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sai Lok is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Head has managed to free his arm - good work. Sai Lok missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sai Lok throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sai Lok has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sai Lok seems to be looking for submissions.
Sai Lok is looking for a kimura but Head is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sai Lok to get the leverage. Sai Lok throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sai Lok throwing shots but Head is blocking nicely. Sai Lok is working for a submission of some sort.
Head on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Head tries to get out of the position. Sai Lok is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Head defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wai Sai Lok dominated that round. That's time! Head's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sai Lok shoots in looking for a takedown but Head manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sai Lok's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sai Lok feints and then cracks Head's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Head down. Sai Lok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Head sprawls well. Head wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sai Lok gets slowly back to his feet. Sai Lok tries a head kick but it misses.
Sai Lok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Head circles away. Pickle Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wai Sai Lok. Sai Lok keeps the fight on the outside. Sai Lok fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pickle Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sai Lok ducks under a wild hook from Head. Head throws a lazy right hand but Sai Lok sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Head moves in looking to clinch but Sai Lok pushes him off. Sai Lok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sai Lok stands up out of the half guard. Sai Lok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Head avoids it really well and circles away. Sai Lok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Head keeps the fight on the outside. Head jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pickle Head is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sai Lok shoots for a double leg takedown but Head sprawls well. He's pushed Sai Lok's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sai Lok tries to clinch up but Head circles away and keeps his distance. Head gets caught flat footed, as Sai Lok shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Head keeping moving, preventing Sai Lok from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Wai Sai Lok was stalling too much, according to the referee. Sai Lok tries to land a front kick but Head steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sai Lok changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Head looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sai Lok is working to tighten is grip on Head's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Head has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sai Lok is really squeezing tight and eventually Head passes out! Sai Lok breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Wai Sai Lok!
