Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Julius Lawson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Norman Steel! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Lawson. That snapped Steel's head back.
Lawson lands a head shot. Norman Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lawson thows a body shot but no joy. Steel shoots in and drives through. Lawson sprawls well. Lawson looks to land a left hand but Steel moved out of range nicely. Steel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lawson defends it nicely. Steel fails with a takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Steel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lawson's head. Lawson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steel on the ground. Steel wants to control from the top but Lawson keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lawson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steel circles away quickly and effectively. The fighters circling - Lawson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Steel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lawson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Steel forces Lawson back against the cage and clinches.

Steel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lawson moves away. Lawson lands with a hook. Steel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lawson misses with a hook. Steel ducked under it nicely. Steel thows a body shot but no joy. Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Lawson is just out of range. Lawson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
