Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Devlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henk De Vries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devlin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, sandstorm. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Devlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Henk De Vries!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devlin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has De Vries pinned against the cage. De Vries gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice sprawl there from De Vries as Devlin shoots in.
De Vries stuffs the takedown attempt from Devlin. Devlin gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Devlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De Vries drops Devlin with a right and a left! De Vries comes rushing in but Devlin regains his composure and manages to keep De Vries in guard.
Devlin is rocked!
It looks like Nick Devlin has been cut.
Devlin is breathing heavily.
De Vries drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Vries jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Devlin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
De Vries is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
De Vries slips nicely into half guard.
Devlin seems to have got his legs back now.
Devlin is not content to let De Vries control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Devlin has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, De Vries escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by De Vries!
De Vries has hold of Devlin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Devlin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - De Vries cranks the arm and Devlin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Devlin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Henk De Vries!
