The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ross swivels and escapes. Ross lands a nice shot to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ross. Friar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Friar is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Ross lands with a right and another and another! Friar is in big trouble! Ross lands again and this time it's lights out for Friar! A quality knockout there for Ross.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bob Ross!
