The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Jackson - just one landing.
Tangis is looking to clinch.
Tangis checks the leg kick nicely there.

Jackson lands a left and a right that sends Tangis crashing to the canvas! Jackson dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Kova Tangis has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
You get the feeling that Tangis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Jackson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Tangis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tangis.
Tangis dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Tangis's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kova Tangis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson drops his shoulder and cracks Tangis with a huge uppercut! Tangis goes down! Can Jackson finish him?

Tangis wriggles free and stands up.
Jackson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Tangis's defenses. It connects perfectly with Tangis's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
