Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Tibs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutten comes to the cage accompanied by Pride. Tibs has chosen Atreyu - The Crimson as his entrance music. Bas Rutten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten throws a push kick but Tibs slaps the foot to one side.
Tibs lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rutten throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rutten keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rutten doesn't manage to clinch there - Tibs circles away.

Tibs cracks Rutten with an uppercut from hell and Rutten crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Tibs's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bas Rutten.
Well Tibs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
