Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Shackleford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sherman Stafford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shackleford's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Godfather. Stafford has chosen Macho Man(VIllage People) as his entrance music. Rusty Shackleford has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackleford throws a looping overhand right but Stafford ducks down to avoid it.
Stafford fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stafford slips a jab from Shackleford.
Stafford gets the takedown into side control.
Shackleford is trying to buck Stafford off.
Shackleford trying to remain calm as Stafford controls from the top position.
I looks like Stafford might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Stafford wants to control but Shackleford is keeping him busy.

Stafford is looking to take a break and control but Shackleford is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sherman Stafford just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shackleford throws out a loose jab but Stafford uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shackleford drops Stafford with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stafford! Shackleford dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
