Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damn Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huw Alen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huw Alen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Damn Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Huw Alen!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Damn Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy fails with a takedown attempt.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damn Hardy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Alen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hardy at a distance.

Hardy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hardy stands up and waves to Alen to follow him.

Alen tries to clinch there but Hardy circles away.
Hardy gets the takedown into side control.

Hardy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alen looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hardy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alen is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hardy lets go of the hold and Alen can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Damn Hardy!
Our winner, Damn Hardy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
