The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hancock takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hancock tries a head kick but it misses.

Hancock gets tackled into the cage by Williams. Williams maintains the clinch.
Williams on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Williams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hancock is breathing heavily.
Williams lands a jab to the nose.

Williams rushes Hancock and presses him up against the cage.
Williams makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

A right hand to the body from Williams.
Williams with a knee to the head.

It looks like John Hancock has been cut.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Williams lands a front kick.
Williams connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hancock covering up! Williams comes in with a big uppercut and Hancock goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
