The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowska closes the distance but Kodo moves to the side
and Kodo counters with a stiff right hand.
Pudzianowska is rocked!
Pudzianowska moves in looking to clinch but Kodo pushes him off.
Pudzianowska is still on wobbly legs! Can Kodo finish him?
Pudzianowska tries for a takedown but Kodo circles away easily
and Kodo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pudzianowska fails with the takedown
and Kodo counters with a big right hand! Oh Pudzianowska is in trouble here! Kodo follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tamong Kodo!
After the fight, Tamong Kodo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
