Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Belkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mal Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds has chosen Can't take the sky from me as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, David Belkofer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mal Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds checks a low kick from Belkofer. Belkofer throws a push kick but Reynolds slaps the foot to one side. Belkofer misses with a left hand and Reynolds counters with a nice double leg into guard. Belkofer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reynolds! Belkofer content just to control the position here. Reynolds tries to get back to half guard but can't. Reynolds tries to hold on but Belkofer postures up. Reynolds prevents Belkofer from taking his back. Reynolds tries to control the position but Belkofer now has his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds prevents Belkofer from getting a body triangle. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Reynolds looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Belkofer wants to control the position but Reynolds frees himself and scrambles - Belkofer manages to regain control in side control.
Reynolds is looking for a sweep. Reynolds is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reynolds is not content to let Belkofer control the position. Reynolds wants to control but Belkofer postures up. Reynolds manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Reynolds looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Belkofer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Reynolds. Belkofer wants to stand and escape but Reynolds is having none of it. Belkofer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reynolds trying to control but Belkofer is working from the bottom. Belkofer wants to sweep but no luck. Belkofer working a defensive guard here.
Reynolds looking to sit in guard and control but Belkofer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Reynolds wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds pulls Belkofer in close to prevent any damage. Belkofer postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Belkofer cracks Reynolds with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Belkofer throws a shot to the body.
Reynolds looks for the body kick but Belkofer saw that one coming. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reynolds with a lazy takedown attempt and Belkofer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Belkofer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mal Reynolds will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Belkofer swings widly with a right hand
and Reynolds counters with an inside leg kick. Belkofer stuffs the takedown. Belkofer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Belkofer wants it to stay on the feet. Reynolds is looking to clinch. Belkofer leaves Reynolds with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. David Belkofer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mal Reynolds. Reynolds takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Belkofer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reynolds is aware though and is defending well. Reynolds in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Reynolds is in close to Belkofer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Belkofer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reynolds looking to sit in guard and control but Belkofer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Belkofer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Belkofer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Reynolds shoots in and drives through. Belkofer sprawls well. Belkofer looks to score with a jab to the body but Reynolds is just out of range. Belkofer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reynolds manages to avoid it. Belkofer throws a shot to the body.
Reynolds throws a half hearted mid kick. Reynolds fails with a takedown attempt. Belkofer stuffs the takedown. A swing and a miss from Belkofer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belkofer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Belkofer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Belkofer misses with a double jab.
Reynolds feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Belkofer's calf. Belkofer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reynolds to score an easy takedown into full guard. Reynolds stops Belkofer from standing up. Belkofer pulls Reynolds in close to his closed guard and prevents Reynolds from doing any damage or advancing position. Reynolds throws a big right hand that misses. Mal Reynolds has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds is looking to work some ground and pound but Belkofer has wrist control. Reynolds postures up and lands a big shot to Belkofer's brow. Reynolds trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reynolds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Belkofer working a defensive guard here.
Belkofer wriggles free and stands up. David Belkofer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belkofer misses with the body kick and Reynolds counters with a one-two to the body. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Belkofer, right into the meat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reynolds with a poor takedown and Belkofer counters with a low kick, right behind Reynolds 's knee. Belkofer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mal Reynolds will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A decent looking cross lands there for Belkofer. Belkofer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Reynolds. Reynolds doesn't succeed with the takedown and Belkofer counters with a nice uppercut. Reynolds takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reynolds is defended easily by Belkofer. Belkofer tries a head kick but it misses.
Reynolds takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. David Belkofer is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds wants to clinch. Belkofer throws the kick towards the body but Reynolds avoids it. Belkofer misses with a right hand and Reynolds counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. David Belkofer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belkofer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reynolds was well out of range. Poor timing from Belkofer. Reynolds shoots in looking for a takedown but Belkofer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reynolds's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. David Belkofer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mal Reynolds. Belkofer is looking to land body kicks. Belkofer throws a leg kick which misses Reynolds's front leg but catches the back leg as Reynolds tries to avoid it. Belkofer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Reynolds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Belkofer circles away. Good work by Reynolds as he checks the leg kick. Reynolds jabs Belkofer right on the nose. Belkofer blinks but takes it well. Belkofer connects with a solid leg kick. Reynolds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Belkofer circles away. Reynolds shoots for a takedown but Belkofer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Reynolds has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Belkofer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belkofer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reynolds. Reynolds fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Belkofer to the ground. Reynolds is now in Belkofer's guard. Belkofer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Belkofer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reynolds manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belkofer wants to control from the top but Reynolds keeps moving. Mal Reynolds is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reynolds is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. David Belkofer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Belkofer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! David Belkofer showed his dominance in that final round. I think Reynolds has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mal Reynolds! Mal Reynolds decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
