Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maurício Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamus McDermid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDermid has chosen The Drunken Scotsman - The Irish Rovers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Some bone on bone action there as Rua checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McDermid defending well as Rua loads up on a big left hand.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Maurício Rua will probably get the nod.
