Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Yvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yvel has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said To Knock You Out as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gilbert Yvel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice shoots for a double leg takedown but Yvel sprawls well. He's pushed Slice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Slice shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yvel but Yvel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown. Yvel tries to sprawl out of it but Slice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yvel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Slice working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Slice thows a huge punch but Yvel dodges it nicely.

Slice thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slice looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Yvel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Gilbert Yvel will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yvel throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Yvel counters with a head kick that wobbles Slice - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Yvel sends him down. This one is all over!
