Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Mcallen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Do comes into the arena with The Godfather Theme Song blaring out of the sound system. JP Mcallen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JP Mcallen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcallen swings widly with a right hand
and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Do makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Mcallen is rocked!
Do throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcallen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Do postures up in Mcallen's guard and throws a big left but Mcallen blocks it.

Do connects with a couple of short punches.
Do is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Do throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Do throwing strikes but missing.
Do pushing down on Mcallen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mcallen wants to improve his position but Do is controlling well.

Mcallen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Do. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big strike lands for Do! That's really hurt Mcallen and he's turned his back - Do keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Do jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Do!
Michael Do decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
