Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pentti Hilkuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Evangelisti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evangelisti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hunting For Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evangelisti smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hilkuri misses the jab.
Evangelisti attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hilkuri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Evangelisti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Evangelisti throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Evangelisti throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hilkuri loads up on a big right hand but Evangelisti slips the punch.
Evangelisti throws a hook but Hilkuri avoids it easily.
Hilkuri will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hilkuri shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hilkuri catches Evangelisti with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Evangelisti rushes Hilkuri and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hilkuri looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hilkuri has had enough of the clinch but Evangelisti keeps him there for the moment.

Hilkuri has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Evangelisti breaks from the clinch.
Hilkuri scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Dante Evangelisti has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hilkuri is looking to chop away at Evangelisti's legs.
Evangelisti cracks Hilkuri with an open hand slap.

Hilkuri scores with a one two! Evangelisti had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Hilkuri counters with a nice low kick that buckles Evangelisti's knee momentarily.
Hilkuri lands a leg kick that knocks Evangelisti off balance momentarily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hilkuri crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Evangelisti - the referee stops the clock and Hilkuri gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Evangelisti. Hilkuri manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hilkuri is breathing heavily.
Hilkuri takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hilkuri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evangelisti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hilkuri takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hilkuri takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Evangelisti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hilkuri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hilkuri throws a sloppy head kick and Evangelisti moves out of range easily.
Hilkuri stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Evangelisti.
That kick from Evangelisti tenderised Hilkuri's leg. Hilkuri is trying to keep his angry face on.
Evangelisti connects with a body shot.
Evangelisti dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hilkuri. That did some damage!

Hilkuri moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Hilkuri gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Evangelisti.

Hilkuri sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pentti Hilkuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evangelisti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Evangelisti throws out a powerful jab.
Evangelisti lands a big right hand that sends Hilkuri crashing to the mat! Evangelisti stays standing though and waves Hilkuri back to his feet!
Hilkuri is rocked!
Evangelisti darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Hilkuri's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Evangelisti before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dante Evangelisti!
