Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ketchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Ketchup will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Del Rio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ketchup has hold of Del Rio's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Del Rio manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Ketchup hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Del Rio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ketchup but Ketchup pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Del Rio tries to close the distance and clinch but Ketchup swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Del Rio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ketchup tries to avoid it but Del Rio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ketchup to the ground. Ketchup escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Ketchup has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
