The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulkkinen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Siltanen counters with a three punch combo that has Pulkkinen backing up. Pulkkinen nods at Siltanen to acknowledge the strikes.
Pulkkinen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Siltanen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pulkkinen throws an overhand right that lands on Siltanen's shoulder, as Siltanen tries to avoid the shot.
Siltanen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pulkkinen gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Janne Pulkkinen has been cut.
Pulkkinen drops his hands momentarily and Siltanen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jusma Siltanen is winning the standup battle so far.
Pulkkinen drops his hands momentarily. Siltanen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pulkkinen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pulkkinen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
