Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brayden Stock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Laynpray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laynpray has chosen Estranged by GN'R - all 10 minuets of it. as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brayden Stock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Laynpray!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stock tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stock throws a body punch but Laynpray moves out of range.
Stock jabs Laynpray right on the nose. Laynpray blinks but takes it well.
Stock tries to close the distance and clinch but Laynpray swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stock moves in looking to clinch but Laynpray pushes him off.
Laynpray tries for a takedown but Stock circles away easily
and Stock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Stock throws a push kick but Laynpray slaps the foot to one side.
Laynpray will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Brayden Stock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Laynpray.
Laynpray misses with a takedown
and Stock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Stock fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Laynpray checks it well.
Laynpray fails with the takedown
and Stock counters with a stiff right hand.

Stock scores with a shot to the body.

Donk. Stock catches Laynpray right on the button with a cross.
Stock lands with an uppercut that bounces Laynpray off the ropes and back into range.
Stock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laynpray's head backwards.
Laynpray gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Stock counters with a shoot takedown. Laynpray fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stock throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stock trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Laynpray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stock is one step ahead there.
Laynpray is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joe Laynpray.
Stock scores with a jab to the body.
Stock is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stock with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Laynpray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stock's waist but Stock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Laynpray off to one side.

and Stock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Stock.

Stock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stock lands in his opponent's guard.
Laynpray looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Stock puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Stock thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Laynpray's head.
Laynpray is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stock scores with a couple of nice shots.
Stock thows a huge punch but Laynpray dodges it nicely.
Laynpray is refusing to be controlled, as Stock sits in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Stock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Laynpray tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Laynpray tries to hold on but Stock pushes him away.
Stock looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Stock cracks Laynpray with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Stock scoring with strikes but Laynpray is staying in there.
Stock with shots to the head and body - Laynpray looks very uncomfortable down there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laynpray takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Stock avoids the attempt from Laynpray to control.
Stock scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Laynpray?

Stock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Laynpray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Laynpray tries to reverse the position but Stock maintains control.
Laynpray tries to hold on but Stock postures up.
Laynpray is in a horrible position here. Stock smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Laynpray tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stock tries to control but Laynpray wriggling away.
Stock landing punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Laynpray regains half guard.
Stock looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brayden Stock dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stock is trying to control the action in half guard but Laynpray is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Stock looking to control but Laynpray is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Laynpray is still in real trouble! Can Stock finish him?

Laynpray seems to have recovered his senses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laynpray can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big strike lands for Stock! That's really hurt Laynpray and he's turned his back - Stock keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stock jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
